Event Details and Safety Precautions
The COSSA Board of Directors have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and after careful consideration and discussion, we have decided to move forward with the in-person Meeting and Trade Show. We are taking safety at our event seriously. Therefore, COSSA is implementing the following measures to promote the health and well-being of attendees and staff:
Policies and procedures:
- As a state Trade Association, vaccinations are required for admittance to COSSA events.
- We will follow all CDC, state, and county guidelines for the event and will communicate any changes, requirements, or developments as we approach the October 12th Membership Meeting and Trade Show.
- Only those that have received the COVID-19 vaccination will be able to attend.
- The CDC recommendations are to wear masks in indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status. Masks covering nose and mouth at all times will be required to be worn by all in attendance, except during active times when eating or drinking.
- The following are not acceptable face coverings: Neck gaiters, Face masks with vents and Bandanas
- Anyone who does not have a mask should see a member of our staff and a mask will be provided. The mask policy for the event is subject to change without notice.
